In Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, the St. Louis Cardinals were pushed to the edge of elimination not once, but twice. They were one strike from being eliminated on two occasions, and they fought back. David Freese, the hometown boy, wrote himself into St. Louis lore in Game 6 with a two-strike, two-out, two-run triple in the ninth off Rangers closer Neftali Feliz that made it 7-all. The Cards went on to win 10-9 in the 11th on a Freese solo home run forcing a game 7!
