Opening ceremony for the Inaugural Game, Target Field. The Minnesota Twins played their first game at Target Field on April 12, 2010, winning against the Boston Red Sox. Located in downtown Minneapolis in the Warehouse District, Twins baseball is being played outdoors for the first time since 1981 when the ballclub played at Metropolitan Stadium. Target Field reflects Minnesota's dynamic blend of urban sophistication and outdoor vitality.
