Jeff started driving at a makeshift racetrack at the age of five and at the age of 13, he drove 650 horsepower sprint cars. In 1991, Gordon won the Raybestos Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Busch Series. Rick Hendrick took immediate notice of Gordon and the young driver became part of the Hendrick Motorsports family. Gordon is a four-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion. Hendrick Motorsports fields four full-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series teams and one full-time NASCAR Busch Series team. |
