This panoramic photo, taken on March 1, 2025, captures the opening faceoff between the Detroit Red Wings and the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2025 NHL Stadium Series at Ohio State's famed Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. This was the first-ever hockey game at "The Shoe" and the second-largest crowd in NHL history with 94,75 fans in attendance. The game was a thriller between two rivals battling for playoff positioning. Tied at 3-3 with only 2:17 left, the Blue Jackets scored the go-ahead goal and won the event with a final score of 5-3.
