This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, showcases the excitement of the evening, as the AFC Champion Baltimore Ravens and the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers competed in the American football game of the year – Super Bowl XLVII. With a final score of Baltimore 34, San Francisco 31, the Ravens captured the franchise"s second Super Bowl Championship. Experiencing great success since winning their first World Championship in 2000, the Ravens have made nine playoff appearances and also earned four AFC North division titles. Super Bowl XLVII marked the first time in NFL history that two brothers, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh and San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh, coached against one another in a Super Bowl..
